About This Project

BUTLER TREE FARM

Owners: Glenn & Kendra Harrell
Location: Lakeland, Florida

Butler Tree Farm, a wholesale-only 160+ acre nursery located in Central Florida, specializes in trees and large shrubs exclusively grown in the patented, above-ground Cool Ring™ air root pruning containers.

Butler Tree Farm also serves as a dedicated research and development (R&D) farm for our patented Cool Ring technology (US PATENT NO. 5,937,577 | 6,637,155 B1).

With ongoing experimental plots at several tree farms, the Cool Ring continuously proves that it is a superior product in growing containerized material. It’s proven increase in growth rate, beautifully manipulated root systems and low cost make it an ideal growing container for any nursery growing plant material in excess of 7 gallons.

The mission of Cool Ring™ containers and Butler Tree Farm is:

  • To provide a dedicated research farm facility to develop new products & technologies
  • To continually advance the development of our Cool Ring technology within horticultural growing solutions
  • To provide our client-partners with quality growing containers that generate value and promote business growth
